March contest is over. And while we enjoyed spring-like weather with blue sky, sun and relatively high temperatures an friday and sunday, saturday was a hard one. Very strong storm, heavy rain and temperatures around 0 slowed everything down, and did not allow us to pull up the microwave antennas (well, forgetting parts of the 23cm dish at home was not helpful, either). Our tent survived the heavy storm with some little damages, and we were lucky that we did set up the 2m and 70cm antennas already on friday. So we could start that bands on time, while the microwave bands started around 3 hours late. As we were also very low on operators (4 on saturday, 3 on sunday) the microwave bands suffered even more, as they were not QRV all the time. Finally, we achieved very satisfying scores on 2m and 70cm, while 23 to 3cm were rather disappointing. One of the highlights on 2m was the call of LA4YGA for 860km. On the other hand, we worked only one OE, late on sunday.
