The spanish URE published the IARU Region 1 results für the october 2005 contest. We (DK3OS) finished with a nice 11th place in the multi op section. Congratulations to the winners!

Michael, OM6AZ, of the OM3KHE Radio club sent us some of their very snowy pictures from JN99JC, and also a nice audio clip of our QSO (well, at least the DR5A transmissions). Thanks for that ODX-QSO of 904km, and we hope to work you guys again in may.

Welcome to the new webpage of the NRCOCOS VHF contest group, now easily recognizable on the band through their new contest callsign DR5A. www.nrcocos.de will also lead to this new page, www.dr5a.de. Rebuilding all those contents of the old page is a quite tedious task, so that will take some time. I will start with the recent contests and work my way back in time till march 1998.
I decided to switch from a CMS-type system to a blog-type system for publication, i think that fits the style of the content much better: Giving information on our ongoing efforts in VHF contest with only a small static parts of information.
When everything is finished, this website is planned to host all our contest results till march 1998, a wide range of pictures we took during contests, links to interesting sites on the web related to (european) VHF contesting, some audio files, and most likely the possibility to look up calls or locators in our very own station database gathered from all QSOs we made since march 1998.
